About the Project
North Park Residences project is unique in a number of ways. It is the first and the largest development project of its kind in the North region of Singapore. Aside from its size, this is an integrated project providing a seamless blend of commercial and residential opportunities. It is integrated with a transport hub, a community club, a town plaza and the popular North City shopping mall which has now been enlarged. Set to open in 2018, the residences consist of 12 blocks of 10 story towers which house the 920 units. The project takes up a large space covering over 30,000 sq. m. There are several options available for residencies which cater for the needs of different interested tenants. There are 1 bedroom suites, dual key apartments under TRIO, verandah homes which come with an alfresco layout, Vista homes which have an extended living and dining area and a new kind of units called Viva Homes. The Viva Homes focus on the scenery below and around the blocks by configuring the living rooms and bedroom section to provide for greater views. They come with 1- 5 bedroom alternatives tailored for different family set ups and sizes. The floor sizes go from 431 sq. ft. to 1,431 sq. ft.
Movements to and from the residences are well facilitated by the use of lifts and a private walkway that comes with a canopy. Access to the lifts is convenient, secure and private. Those coming by car use a dedicated ramp taking them to level three. Those using train or bus access the lifts at level one and those using concierge and taxi services access them at level four.
There are more than 900 parking lots in an exclusive area for residents. This parking area is separate from the parking facilities of the mall.
For scenery, there is plenty to look at from the beautiful sights of the neighborhood to the amazing scenery within the residences. There are three themed gardens mixing beautiful water and greenery elements. These are the Waterfall Gardens, Fountain Gardens, and Spring Water Gardens. The gardens provide different leisure facilities. Recreation facilities available at the park include 8 pools, an aqua gym, a clubhouse, and a hot spa. Plans are underway to construct a 15.5km cycling network.

What makes the North Park Residences attractive is the Yishun Central Location. The facilities, amenties and neighborhood make the integration possible. By being right in the middle of Yishun Central, the residences are next to a mall, a bus interchange, a town plaza, and a community hub. Just a short distance away lies the Yishun MRT station for those who may need train services.
The Northpoint Shopping Mall is the biggest in the North area and offers access to numerous services and goods. Residents will get to it by simply walking through a sheltered walkway. The town plaza is almost the size of ten basketball courts and is host to over 500 retail outlets, restaurants, and hotels. The Community Hub features a number of community clubs including SAFRA Yishun Community Club, Nee Soon Central Community Club, and the Orchid Country Club. These provide a number of leisure facilities and activities. There are also a number of gardens and parks for further leisure activities. The most prominent of these are the Town Garden and the Community garden at the rooftop. The community garden comes with a Multipurpose Plaza which serves as a playground for children.
Transport is the easiest thing around the development. The existing Yishun MRT station and the bus interchange are further facilitated by an underpass which is air-conditioned and covered walkways. These provide residents with a comfortable access to public transport. There are further plans to create more roads to serve as links and expressways. Educational facilities available within the neighborhood include a childcare, a number of primary schools, secondary schools and a polytechnic. The Yishun Public Library is just next to the establishment.
Health facilities are also available close to North Park Residencies. The main one is the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. It is complimented by a number of community health facilities which include the Yishun Community Hospital and the Yishun Polyclinic. Further plans will see elderly care facilities created nearby to cater to the needs of elderly residents.
